Where is all my RAM going?
Hello,
I have a problem with the amount of RAM that I can effectively use for applications.
The product specifications show that the xperia J has 512mb of memory.
Now I know that some of this ram is reserved for the android system which leaves me with 321mb (as seen in the app settings menu)
However it seems that I can only use much less than this 321 mb and I dont know where all the memory has gone
In the active apps menu I can see the ram usage of the different apps but if I sum these up I only get to 175mb used, which means I should have 146mb of free ram. but as u can see in the screenshots it says that I only have 60mb free.
Can someone tell me what happened to the missing 86mb? how do I get to use it?
The reason I am trying to figure this out is that my walkman app keeps crashing when I am surfing on internet sites that have many pictures and stuff (phone seems to run out of memory and stops playing the music)

Restart phone? It will clear the RAM usage to normal.

The screenshots were taken 1 hour AFTER restarting the phone.
