For me, 2 things.
Remove the "What's new shortcut" on swipe up, or at least make it an option to have one or two apps and be able to choose which apps. (According to a phone call to support, I'm on the only one that has asked this)
Ability to move apps to SD card, the way android is for everyone else on 4.x.(According to a phone call to support, I'm on the only one that has asked this) They can't even tell me if it's coming, let alone when.
What would you change to make it perfect?
There's a thread about What's New on this forum. If you are prepared to do a bit of tinkering then you can remove it.
One of my main wants is to have the Google Dialer without root. The Google Dialer can search places nearby and I used to love it on the Nexus 5.
Other than that - more stable phone call volume. If I can get that back then I'm pretty pleased with the Z2.
Thanks MArtin, does that tinkering involve rooting and/or a new rom?
Ideally trying to avoid that.
No root, but you do need to install ADB and drivers etc. Here's the link:
I still haven't got round to doing this... Must get to it.
Thanks for that Martin, I need to get some Z2 drivers to get ADB to see the phone, but that looks doable...
Ability to move apps to SD card.
Definitely App2SD...
Ability to add / modify apps from "slide down" menu.
