Stop by your local Xperia Care and request a vacuum test
Can I ask how your phone was repaired?
What part was replaced or was it repaired by drying?
I have the same problem here. The local repairshop told me water was entered via the sim port.
They tried drying but no luck.
Just experienced the same problem. While floating on a raft at my pool, with the phone at or near water level, water entered the phone through the SIM slot, a slot I've never opened or closed other than to insert the SIM at initial power on. I have replaced the charging port cover 2 times, however, and the constant opening and closing surely weakened any seal this area may have had. I have indicated to Sony this is surely a design flaw, the power port cover, and requested a magnetic charger. I've been told it is possible a magnetic charger may be included in future Z1s's sold, but not mine. But as to this issue, before I entered the water, I checked all port covers, and they were as secure as secure can be. I didn't even press any buttons, I just wanted to listen to music. Within 5 minutes, the phone had turned the screen on, and had stopped playing music. I pressed play again, and then shut the screen off. Did this about 4-5 times, and then 3 buzzes, and off it went, never to reopen again. Sony clearly must know this phone IS NOT WATERPROOF and MUST STOP ADVERTISING IT AS SUCH. I am using my TMobile warranty, and will replace the phone, but I WILL NOT LET IT NEAR WATER EVER AGAIN. I am very disapppointed with this product, not only for this issue, but for the 'shatterproof' coating the phone has which scratches easily and leaves a thousand fingerprints all over it. Add to that the fact that TMobile carries NO Sony accessories, and I'm not a satisfied customer. I simply expected more from Sony. Note: My local TMobile no longer has the display with the phone on a rack so the phone can be submerged in water, and the rep who sold me the phone is missing his charging port cover, and now says he'd wished he'd purchased a different phone. Great salesmanship, poor phone design. But for not being suited for the purpose for which it is advertised, I loved my phone. Loved. Now, not so much.
