I've sent the phone to Sony for repair and it passed it checks. It came back with the same software faults AND the USB port flap still pops open on it's own and according to Sony it passed it's checks. No idea what to do anymore?!?!
I have had this problem off an on until I noticed that the little rubber band-like seal was dangling off the mini usb cover. It would not stay on at all, until I used a magnifying glass to see that it was twisted. Once I untwisted the little seal, the cover stays on. We'll see how long it lasts 
same thing happens to me!!! annoying, very dissapointed...
same happened to me, I can't use my memory card anymore because it's popping out..very sad
I just wanted to note that I am experiencing the same issue. Snt the phone back for warranty repair, particualrly mentioned this issue, keeping my fingers crossed that it will get resolved.
This happened to my power port, I sent it back to Sony, after a week they told me the frame was damaged at the sim port and it would be £101, I refused as it hadn't effected the operation of the phone, Sony refused to replace the port cover, to get my phone back I had to pay £20, I got my phone back yesterday, after two weeks! the port cover has been replaced? The zagg protective cover has been removed from the screen, my phone had been reset to factory settings, and now sim cards cannot be read, I asked Sony if they had blocked my phonr, Sony told me to contact my network provider, what can they do if the sim cannot be read? Please do not send your phone to Sony, buy a port cover online and pop it in place yourself, the port covers are only about a fiver!
The newer models have a slide out port cover.
We've had ours repaired twice and within days the same thing. They wipe the phone each time and removed the screen protector despite us asking them not to touch the phone content. No offer of a newer version from ether Sony or EE just continuous repairs and the inconvience this brings ie no phone and then having to set it up again. Totally appalled by this claim that it is waterproof when it's not and they don't want to rectify the situation. Wish we had never gone for this ohone that we are still paying for as part of an upgrade!
Same problem here, if that is Sony's customer support on a problem that is clearly a design fault I'll reconsider my mobile brand again although I'm quite satisfied with the experia tablet. So after apple and Sony who's next?
sir i want to repair my xperia z3 D6633 touch and my usb cover replace but in pakistan near my city i cant find any sony workshop what should i do can i sent it to sony headpffice and they repair it for me and how can i do this please reply me
