I recently had a gig where a lot of videos were taken on my phone. The memory filled up and the phone asked if I would like to transfer the data to the SD card. I clicked ok and it did the transfer but now there is no evidence of the videos on the SD card and they are no longer on the internal memory. How can this happen? And how do I get the media back?

have you tried using the File Commander to see if you can find the videos on the SD card? if not try plugging in to a PC and see if you can find them directly.
Try with other files. If possible, try doing it in PC. If this problem persists with those files even in PC, it might indicate that the SD card is faulty.
