Touch screen not working correctly

From some days ago the touch screen is not working properly. If I touch only in one point it seems ok but if I slide the finger across the screen it goes to all directions. I have runed the Touch screen diagnosis and the yellow line goes to the edge of the screnn randomly.

Can somebody tell me a solution? Is that hardware failure? The device is only 10 months old so I have guarantie.

Settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test the touchscreen.

Really sorry to hear about the touch screen, I am sure we can help find the appropriate resolution for this.

If you have a Screen protector on the screen, you may need to try removing it, this may be causing the touch problems. If there are any air bubbles, dust or moisture under the protector you may encounter issues also.

You may also want to remove any phone covers to verify that it is not interfering with the touchscreen.
