SWR10 data syncing

I notice that if I have no network connection, my smartband doesn't sync data with lifelog.. As soon as I connect to a network and hit refresh, it will update the step count.

Why is this? It's connected via bluetooth, so why sohuld it need a network connection? Does this mean it's useless when in airplane mode, or if I'm abroad and I have no data connection? What happens when the SWR10 memory is full, does it start deleting old data? Where can I find info on how the data is synced, how often, etc?

As I understand the Lifelog application needs Internet connection to your Lifelog account in order to start showing these details.

SmartBand can keep up to 14 days of activity data and will sync these as long as its connected to the phone, but the Lifelog app will show it to you as soon as your phone has an Internet connection. So I think that what you see in the Lifelog application is what is synced to your Lifelog account.
