sony ericsson arc does not recognize the headset with a headset

Hello, I bought myself a headset that's Marshall Major FX, and my phone sony ericsson arc displays a message that the device is not The supported on any other brand of phone no problem. I suspect that it is at the program level. Someone faced a similar situatsyey?

Many headsets are not supported for Sony devices - that is pretty annoying.

Maybe this you want to try this workaround - it seems to work for 2012 devices:

Hold the play/pause button of your headset, plug it into your phone and wait a few seconds before releaseing the button. This might solve the problem although some buttons of your headset might not work.

guys my problem is that my phone does not read the headphones I tried the headphones on another device and I alsto tried to connect my phone to my soundsystem at home,both worked...but dont know why the phone and the headphones wont recognize each pther ...please help

if you want to use a headset that works on arc and arc s use the JVC HA-EBR 80 with the little mini cable that are in the box 😉

Hiya, what i did with  my sony earphones is i took a piece of toothpick and taped the button in so its 'on' all the time, sound is fine 🙂 thanks for the button hack 🙂
