Can anyone help me

When my phone received new update, i updated it but failed. Then when i open it always promt Software update failed Make sure that your phone connected to the computer and try again. When itry to fix it on PC companion, it appears to PC screen

Problem;

There is n o software available for your device

Details;

Sony Update Engine doesnt have software available for your device

Troubleshooting;

Please try again later.

Hope anyone can help me with this problem. Thank you

- Uninstall PC Companion
- Re-install PC companion
- Restart your PC
- Connect the device to PC
- Check for update (via PC companion)
- Download the update (via pc companion)

Had an update yesterday, said yes download, now it keeps flashing between the start up page and "the software update failed. Make sure that it is connected to a computer and try again". Tried plugging it in, but nothing computer wont recognise the phone and phone just keep flocking between the screens. Wont turn off, wont reset, wont do anything excpt these two screens!

If the update has failed and the phone won't boot correctly, it sounds like you need to perform a software repair via PC Companion. This will reinstall the latest software available for your phone.

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

Note that, when doing this software repair your phone should be completely off. You can force a shutdown by holding down the ON/OFF + volume up(+) button for 5-10 seconds. Unfortunately, this software repair will also erase your personal data and if the phone can't boot correctly, you cannot make any backup.

Hi, I had an update that i installed and now my phone will not switch on. Tried the little red button, tried the pressing volume up and on button together, but it just keeps circling round the start screens, then updating apps, then all starts again. Even ran it through the repair bit of the Sony companion, on two different computers, three times. But no luck just keeps going round and getting extremly hot.

Hello i have the same problem with my xperia z1 ("the software update failed") i did the step to the wall charge for 40 minutes and after that i do what? how can i repair the xperia with SUS? i click on the link but i dont know how. Please if anyone can help me
