Service provider dissapears from options

I travel a lot to Mexico and i have bought a sony xperia z1 compact which i am using with AT&T chip, the issue is that with AT&T chip there is no option to select service provider in Mexico.

I have done some test

Inserted a Tmobile chin in xperia z1 compact, and with this, the phone allows the service provider selection

Inserted AT&T chip in a Samsung phone and here allows to select provider

It only appears when AT&T chip is in xperia z1 compact, can you help me with this? I really need to select a static provider in Mexico

That's an AT&T issue, you should contact them, they have live webchat and they can assist you

I don't think so, cause the chip allows selection of service provider in a samsung phone

What kind of AT&T Sim card do you have? is it of a plan or prepaid SIM card?

you could repair your phone with SUS or PCC and check again
