SBH 80 won't connect after recharge

Hi,

I have recently purchased a SBH80 to use with my Xperia Z1 Compact.

The problem I have is that they won't connect to each other after I have recharged the headset. I have to turn it off and then hold down the power button until a blue light flashes. Then they can connect.

One workaround, that seems to work, is to turn the headset off before charge and then turn it on when charge is done. Then it will connect allright.

Is this a known issue or is my headset faulty?

Which build number is your Xperia Z1 compact running on?

Settings > About phone > Build number.

Have you tried resetting the headset?
If not, you can find instructions on how to do so on page 6 in the users guide.

I have tried to reset it a few times but the same behaviour still there!

Seems I don't have a Build number! (What would that be in Swedish?)

In Swedish its "Version" found at the bottom of the list in the about phone menu.

I tried but wasn't able to replicate the problem you experience so I suggest that you contact your local support team to have the headset examined and fixed at a repair center.
