replacing battery in xperia ion

is it possible to get the battery replaced by sony suport center when the battery wears down? beccause user can access battery...

can some one please confirm this, then only i will buy, otherwise nops..

yes, and also you can replace it yourself (it will be cheaper) but it will void your warranty

The handset was bought last year in the mnth of Jan....the Handset now is totally conked off as i think there are issues with its battery or may be software.I was denied services from the authorised sony service centre as the handset wasn't bought under warranty...It was disppointing to know such an answer.Can i get guidance on what shall i do further as the handset otherwise is in a very good condition...where can i get the required support for the same?
