Regarding Touch Screen issue in Xperia Z2

Hi,

In my new xperia Z2, the application(icon) listed second left in TOP row getting selected automatically and that application is getting activated, this is irespective of any application or any page (any home page or any application drawer page), after switch off the phone and on it is getting ok. again after some time same thing is happening.

once it is happening, even when i try to clse the application again it is getting activited and also if any selection is available in the opened application at that place it is gettiing selected automatically. other wise that particullar spot gets touch signal automatically with out any touch physically happening (I can call that as Ghost touch effect)

Is anybody else has the same issue?. Is it software or hardware issue

What App, where? Main menu, status bar... Ewerybody has it's own personalization, one it will be FB, other Scatch program or mail... Define more the problem.

It is happening with all applications and widgets, in main menu, that is any home screen pages or in any application drawer menu

If saying bout a drop with the dot inside - "localization/GPS" that would be application restricted, sometimes when facebook or twitter are enabled to show your current position the GPS will turn it self ON when on wi-fi or specified area.
Just disable the option to track you down in FB or other apps ("show my position") (endomondo, twitter, google anonymous statistics), that should open localization just when on navigation or prompt.

That's the only thing that comes to mind, also the waves logo of wi-fi can open automatically if the wi-fi is set to tracking and open the wi-fi when I'm near open web - option.

If the system runs apps automatically first thing is to clear the screen, when it's dirty it can collide with touch sensor and open apps automatically where dirt is on..
Other thing is to repair the whole system with SonyUpdate Service in Companion update options... Maybe your system is faulty and needs a reinstall.
First try to find the app in software options/recently used or running and force stop + clean data and settings of the app.

If system repair won't help i would return the phone for service inspection.. Maybe your touch sensor is broken and getting false signals from digitalizer.

Thank you for the reply, I tried to repair using companion it seems alright for 4 days, then again it is started. I have redone the repair yesterday and installed only that Sony and google pushed application further installed about 5 applications which essentially I use. This whole day it is fine but I am not sure when it will come back, I noticed this issue on my first day, first start of the phone itself. If you provide a way to send a video, I can send the video which I took with another phone.
