Proximity Sensor Not Working on Brand new Z2

Hi,

The Proximity sensor is not working on my new Xperia Z2. I have ran all the tests on the phone and they have failed. When Put up to the ear during a call the screen does not switch off and all the icons get pressed etc. This is VERY annoying as i cant even speak to anyone for a minute before im dialing someone else by mistake.

All Software is up to date.

SONY, What the soslution here? I will be taking it into the Sony Center here tomorrow but I dont want to be without my only buisness phone for 3-4 days.

Just wanted to add an example to support this after dialling in the number the screen goes blank but if i am on call and

try to move it away from my ear it still remains blank and the light does not come on i ahve to manually push the power button to get the light on to nd that call

Having same problem here.  Using diagnostic tool, proximity sensor is always on no matter how close something is to it.  I have removed the screen protector and cleaned around the sensor, but no success.  Makes it a real issue when on a call as the screen automatically turns off (since it thinks its close to me head).

Any help?

All sensors are stop working. Accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor etc.i noticed the complaint after the update android marshmallow.the old vertion have problem or not i don't notice.i try to factory reset and software repair. It still not working. I try the service test code and check the sensor. It showing sensor not support. I checked many post in Internet many guys reported the problem and asking the solution.but saddely no propper answer not found for fixing the issue. Now i have a another problem
Gost touches are coming. First it appeared in using whats up message are typing. Then try to reset. Software repair using pc companion. But it not fixed. I removed my tempered glass protector and try again the same problem not stop. After few hours i turn off and turn on.it the freequnt of the touch is low and again automatically fixed.after this some time it will come and going.i dont know it is software issue or hard ware issue.so please inform any solution for this problems.pls help me
