Prefered 4G/3G/GSM not as it should be

Good morning

With latest FW .185, on 6.0 MM, I noticed something really bad during some calls

Calls switched immediately by 4G to GSM, without going firstly to 3G so I had to check more things and I went into

Settings - Other - Mobile Networks - Prefered network type and I had yet flagged 4G-3G-GSM AUTO !

But doing some other searches, I went into *#*#4636#*#* and I noticed that in Info Phone I had instead : "LTE/GSM auto and infact, calls under WIFI goes directly to GSM and I noticed so bad calls while before with .163 FW calls were better ....

However I've never had all these problems during some calls as with this phone under WIFI

Could u help me to understand ?

@Robertods88

This is probably how your carrier/network handle calls and data, is your phone network branded?

Hi Uli, glad to read u !

Mmm, I don't think it so, because there should be an improvement there, and not a step behind

However I flashed my FW again with Flashtool and now I'm discovering if this could happen again

My phone is unbrandized, CUSTOMIZED IT

I can't have VoLTE too ...

I am refreshing this post when I've got some fresh news to report Slightly_smiling_Face

Uli I can confirm u that situation has not improved !

Don't know more what to do Slightly_frowning_Face

I just tried to attempt for a call, but while I was waiting that the called answered, I saw by SIM STATUS that phone went by 4G to 3G immediately and then after some seconds it went to 2G with a decadent call quality

All this happens under WIFI ! No mobile connection !

I'm thinking :

Pershaps is there something to reduce drain battery when we're doing a call, under WIFI, regarderless about strenght line power.

Mine goes back and forth between 4g and 3G during a call, but both signals are good and neither communication nor connection are affected.

I am running an unbranded Z5c under revolving Vodafone SIM card.
