Power issues!

Hey all,had the z2 for 4 or so months. Fully updated etc...however I have 3 issues.

1) When I plug in the USB mains cable into the phone to charge the acknowledgement beep the phone makes to tell you the phone is connected beeps about 20 times in 4 seconds. Also using the official cable.

2) Phone wont charge to 100%. Gets to 96% and then the phone will start making the 'charger cable inserted' noise.

3) The phone wont fully power down. It will flash with the white sony writing on a black background for 10 or so seconds each time. Even turning the phone on that stage is tricky. You need to time when you press the power button to turn the phone on.

Any ideas?,phone seems a little broken. I assume sont have a 12 month manufacturers warranty?,phone has never been exposes to water either and is in a protective case.

Sounds like you may have a USB port issue - I'd check the pins aren't damaged however you can either return it to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care for your country http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Maybe the rest is a software issue.

I rekon so...

The pins seems ok, im gentle when it comes to pluggin in charger and all that!. Just a shame as im really happy with the rest of the phone.

I just tried the docking cable to charge, the phone charges for a few seconds and then stops and then continues again in a cycle.

Seems my phone is a bit poorly.
