My Xperia U Dosent update

My Xperia u doesnt show any update in Update centre.

When i try to update it via PC COmpanioon PC companion does not work. I live in India help me how can i update my phone

What firmware do you have now?

See now i am stuck in press volume down step.

I disconnect my usb from the computer and mobile.

Then turn my mobile off.

Then after 5 seconds i plug in USB

Then i plug micro-usb in Phone, pressing volume down button and holding it, But nothing happens, Help.

Does the LED light up at all? It should turn green when you connect the phone for update.

I live in Pakistan and my Experia U does not upgrade. both through the Sony PC companion and phone's internal software upgrade system, it states the software is upto date.

Current software is Gingerbread 2.3.7

current build is 6.0.B.1.564

Carrier is Mobilink

The latest software according to Sony is Ice cream Sandwich 4.0 with built 6.1.1.B.1.54

Awaiting advise how to upgrade.

Hello i lived in the Philippines my phone is xperia u and it always hangs up.. My current version is 2.3.7 and my build number is 6.0.b.3.184. I just want to ask if i need to update it to ics? 'cause when i open my sony companion in my computer it always suggest to update my phone. Please help me through this.. Thank you sony
