my sony xperia go automatically shutting down when sim is inserted

Hi im jesstin from philippines.. can you help me with my sony xperia go st27i.. it shuts down automatically when i inserted my sim can you help please i beg you to those who can read this

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

The phone should turn off if SIM is inserted while phone is on. Insert your SIM card while the phone is off then power it on.

If this does not happen,you need a new SIM.
