I am wondering Z2 has very poor display performance especially in outdoor or direct sunlight.
I wish sony should fix this porblem through a firmware update.
Make sure he doesn’t have a screen [protector on his handset and make sure his display is very clean or you may not see it.

He has the original protector that z1 shipped with preinstalled. Our screens were equally dirty with fingerprints. As we compared our phones he also mentioned that he has never seen them on his screen and did see them on mine straight away.
I realize that it has something to do with the digitizer pattern (http://forums.androidcentral.com/attachments/google-nexus-4/64554d1365023735t-new-nexus-4-pattern-sc... but it is reflecting bright light from the corners of the pattern. Somehow i feel that this is not normal..
I need to get my hands on another z2 for comparing..
No sun-light dots on my Z2, no screen protectors...
How exactly do they look these dots? Aren't they a normal reflection of what's above? Can you upload a photo of the phone made with other device?
I did manage under a spotlight. https://www.dropbox.com/s/n4n384ddbq6ekv5/IMG_1684.JPG
The picture is taken with the screen off, but you can see them with the screen on too.
They do follow the digitizer pattern as mentioned above, but I personally feel that the digitizer shouldn't shine from the corners as I have not seen this happen in any other phone.
Ohh.. these dots. They are preety normal in close to glass screens, I had them on Xperia T and Z. Also saw some with friend's Galaxy SII, they only occur in a pointed light, should be unseenable in a high sun light. Nothing to worry about.
exactly the same on my z2.
and i dif never see those on samsung or iphones 😕 they are really good visible outside if its deep evening sunshine from beside
They are pretty normal but your Z2 does not have them or?
I'm installing a Spigen GLAS.tR NANO on my screen next week. hope it helps and fades them since "if you're using a screen protector they might be invisible"
my z2 have really good visible dots.
i have smartphones since the SGS1 and did not know till i got my z2 that such dots exists.
even on my garbage samsung phone im not able to notice them (even if i want) also using capacitiv touch.
ADD:
-------------------------
i tried now with the same light to make those "dots" visible at my SGS1 my S duos and my htc Desire s
in my Sduos i can see very very very hard some rectangles but no dots.
in my sgs 1 and HTC im not able to reproduce with the same light any visible digitizer.
only really good dots visible @ Z2
i feel really sad about that
There is not much more I can advise, as outlined by myself and others above this is quite normal and is simply due to the digitiser.
