I cannot seem to tell the difference between 8 and 23 MP even at 5x or max zoom . Both seem equally blurry ? This is on auto mode.

Just wondering if anyone else experiences this or if somethings wrong with mine.

Blurry? Some users complaint about that and their devices had hardware issues, try this

settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart the phone > check again

also, does your device has a protective case or film?

It is 23mpx camera but with oversampling technology on 8mpx and somehow poorly written software so there is less sharpening in postprocessing of the picture then in Samsung or LG devices, which is sometimes good and other times bad.

It's just a bad camera. I'm furious. It was the main selling point for.me and it takes worse pictures than my dad's 5mp E3. If thia can be rectified with a software update I'll keep. If not it's going back or being sold. It's just plain bad!
