If it's what I'm thinking then open the Album app then tap the 3 dots then Settings then tap Disconnect from PlayMemories or try turning off All Sync

Hi,

It can also be related to Google+. If you open the application Google+ > Press the menu button > Settings > Auto-backup > Make sure that this one is off.

You can also check via Settings > Accounts & sync > Tap your@gmail-account > unmark "Sync Picasa web album" and the Picasa album in your gallery will disappear.

I think that you have the synchronization option off since you do not have the option to mark/unmark here (based on the screenshot). But did you check the backup option in Google+? I think you have this option on and thereby, why the photos is uploaded to Picasa.

The only thing that is preinstalled that can backup photos to Picasa is Google+. Could you try to enable it to see if the settings are saved or similar? Otherwise, have you installed any application that is related to your Google-account or Picasa? Then you would do best by checking settings for these apps or uninstall them.
