how to move apps from internal storage to SD card

Hello,

I am new to the Forum.

I have just bought a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

I am sure you all know that it only has 16gb of internal storage, so I have bought a massive SD Card with the intentions to transfer any moveable APPS to it, but I am having real difficulty in find a easy way to do this (I do not want to root my phone).

I thought I had done enough research on this phone before I bought it, but I just did not think this would be a problem !!!

Can anyone help please ?

Thanks

Bobby

I've moved my HereMaps downloads as above and set my Camera to use the SD Card, still hunting for more ways to move things to the SD Card though??

@bombero you are absolutely right to be indignant as most Z3c users do !

I hope someday Google and Android stop fooling their consumers and give the obvious solution that everybody ask !!!

I look forward to seeing Lollipop ....

April 2015 - I have just moved from an old Xperia Miro to a new Xperia Z3 compact because the Miro had limitation on phone memory where you could not move the shipped appls to user or SD memory.

On my new Z3 compact I have installed a 32GB SD card, but it appears that I still cannot move appls from the phone memory to the SD card.

Please can Sony let me have a date when Android 5.0 or a fix to Android 4.4.4 will be rolled out that solves this issue and is available for my Z3 compact.

Lovely phone but the lack of a "Move to SD" feature is a serious flaw.

many thanks

Like we keep on saying hundreds of times - We don't know when updates will be released as it's not Sony who decide but your country and networks - The moving of apps to SD is included in the Lollipop firmware but even if you do move apps then these apps are not guaranteed to continue to work
