headphones disconnect automatically as I try to increase volume to 10 or above

My Xperia z1 one month old is having this strange issue from today morning. I connected my headsets nd started listening music. It was working charm and suddenly headset got disconnected. The music paused and as I again pressed it to play the same problem repeated. My volume was on 13. I went to the settings and pushed media volume to full. Nd again tried playing the song nd headset again got disconnected.Walkman stopped. (and immediately after Walkman stops there comes notification headset connected...means as headset gets disconnect nd music gets paused headsets are reconnected automatically) now I decreased volume to 5 listened to music from 5 minutes it all went gud and as I tried to increase volume;at 10 headset got disconnected again...I repeated this to check a couple of times nd this problem occurred at volumes from 10 nd above...I did a factory rest...still dis problem was present...repaired software from pc companion but of no use...lost my apps contacts...it is really annoying and is making me cry sad... Please help me...I mean really worried as I contact enjoy my music on such low volumes.please help me...I think it must b a hardware problem causing the supply to headphones jack to stop at high volumes...I am using Sony's stalk headsets that came with home...Please help me please...Wat happened to my new phone?..Please help me..please 😞

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I suggest that you test using another pair of headphones to see if you can replicate the problem.

But it sounds like the phone looses connection with your headphones. That is why the music pauses, it should do that.

Anyhow, if it is a problem with the phone or the stock headphones it still needs to be fixed so I suggest that you contact your local support team to get it repaired.

I did tried seinnheiser earbuds but the same problem persists. As I told this problem occurs only on volumes from 10 and above... This is not happening on lower volumes...Please guide me through this problem

In that case its probably related to the phone but exactly what may be the issue is hard to say. Since you have already tried a master reset and a software repair I suggest that you contact your local support team to have this fixed at at repair center.
