Fail to read mp4 files on update 4.4.4.

Ever since I installed the latest Movie update I am unable to read mp4 files that I have placed on my SD. File Commander fail to recognize the existence of the file as well. Is this a new implementation from Sony or Android? It was fine during the initial stages of update 4.4.4.

Try settings-apps-all-media storage,force stop and clear data.Restart.

I have figured out that my SD card is the culprit. Strangely, I still have my photos in storage while all media related like music and video files have been deleted without my consent. Hopefully its not a bug related issue pertaining to the Movie 7.2.A.0.4 update.
