Hi Guys!
My Sony Xperia Z2 failed a update back in the beginning of may.
I was in New York at that time to spend my holidays (i'm from Denmark).
The problem is, i have no SD-Card or back-up pictures at my computer.
Is there anyway, i can save my pictures?
- I don't say i have to fix it, but maybe you guys know someone who can save my pictures for me.
Hi,
Could you please elaborate. Do you mean that the phone cannot be powered on correctly or not at all since the update failed?
When i turning on my phone, my screen look likes this:
- A dead android icon.
With the text; "ERROR - Update failed"
When i turning on my phone, it show up a dead android icon.
- When i try to charge my phone, the light at the top of my phone, turns red. But after a few seconds, it powered on and shows the dead android icon, and then, after af few seconds, the screen turn off, and then, the light at the top of my phone, turns red again.
If your photos are on the internal storage you won't be able to get them back, since you can't turn on the phone, you will have to repair the phone with PCC which will delete everything. I'm sorry.

There must be a way out of this.. I'm not giving up.
I don't care about PCC or my phone, i just want the pictures.
I invested in a Iphone in the meantime.
I'm sorry to say, but as I understand there's no way of accessing the internal storage if the phone won't boot since it runs via MTP-protocol. This File transfer protocol requires the phone to be started in order to make a connection between the phone storage and another device.
