earpiece on the c905 not working

i have the c905 and for the second time the earpiece on the phone is not working, i have downloaded the latest software update to try and fix it but to no avail....any suggestions??

I would send the phone to a service centre as it will be a hardware fault.

i had this problem several times with my c905, 4 to be exact, it is a hardware fault and sony will fix it free of charge . . . .
