Tell him to check if he hasn't accidentally added you to his ignore list.

Ha JonnyG thats the first thing i said to him.:smileysmileywink:

I'm not on his ignore list. I can call him fine.

We totally deleted my contact in his phone as well.

It's only started happening since I got this new Z1 Compac, to the day.

Have:

1) Deleted his contact in my phone

2) Deleted my contact in his hone (GS 4)

3) Upgraded phone to latest available Andriod with Sony Update Service

4) Got new SIM

still no luck.,

Could it be related to your network?Do you have some messages app?

just using normal SMS messaging that ships with phone. Nothing special.

Network providers claim it's phone issue.

Phone issue with a single contact and only with messaging?Doesn't really seem so.Try settings-apps-all-messages,force stop and clear data.Backup your messages before.

Hi,

If the suggestion above doesn't help, I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

Perhaps your husband can try safe mode in his phone too, I think most of the Android phones have this option but it may be triggered some other way.

Does he receive your calls (is it only a matter of text messages)?
However, I'd visit a store of your network provider (resetting the phones seems rather harsh, I'd try that only if nothing else helps).
