can anyone help me... with pc companion

hi everyone i got the SE xperia 10 mini and im trying to connect to pc companion.... when i try to connect to install it it doesnt do anything what am i doing wrong??? really need some photos and music on the phone but cant seem to do anything as bluetooth doesnt work either!!! please please help me!!!! thanks

Don't know if its the same as I have X10 big, but are you selecting 'Mount' when you connect to pc with usb.  The little usb icon appears in the notification area and you have to access this (slide down on X10 big) and tap then tap mount otherwise the PC can't see your device.

The first and more obvious question, when you connect and mount your phone, does your computer recognize your memory card (phone)? if it does, then try uninstalling and reinstalling PC Companion. if your computer does not recognize your memory card then try different USB ports and other computers if it's not recognized and you don't have any info, data, pictures or anything in the memory card try reformatting the memory card, if that fails then you might have a defective Memory Card.
