the calculator shipped with all os versions is rubbish sin(45)=0.7071 and not 0.8509 which the calculator returns

Which calculator? because the calculator preloaded its quite simple calculator, perhaps we are looking at different apps

sin(45) = .8509 in radians 

sin (45) = .7071 in degrees

yeah it is the rubbisk calculator that is shipped with the phone one would think that sony was intelligent enough to ship something that everyone can use, not everyone works with radians and with a base line calculator that is plain stupid.

I down loaded the hp app for the hp42s
