4K for Z1

is there any way to get 4k video recording for my Z1 ? an app or anything ?

You must root but it is not sure how well will it work.

well since you are not sure if its gonna work or not so I guess I will leave this idea and stick to the FHD record 

until I change it to Z2, not really ready to risk and try to root cause I love my Z1 :3

Indeed.You could ask on XDA if 4K works good on Z1 and it is fully compatible.

Hey guys,

Something weird happened with my phone. I am not root, neither am I using any other camera app, all stock. Yesterday I uploaded a video to youtube and somehow the video had a 4k option when viewing the video on youtube. 

 May that mean that the video quality has been increased to 4k after the latest kitkat upgrade or is it just a youtube glitch?
