4.4 kitkat update for xperia tablet z sgp311 WiFi in Greece...sony pls be more care

Hello there has anybody get the 4.4 update in xperia tablet z sgp311 WiFi version in Greece or anywhere else expect France and UK??it was supposed to come in May's last days but its 5 June and I see this answer everywhere "it is a worldwide update but of course it will be done gradually so it may take up a couple of Weeks",you are SONY and you cant tell when you will release the update in each country?at least say a date like 5-10 June how im I supposed to know how much time is a couple of weeks for you?Pls answer

June 15th and still no kitkat update for SGP311. Looks like Sony lied to us all. Oh well, this will be the last Sony mobile device I'll buy. I was actually considering getting an Xperia phone too, but I went with HTC instead.

I'm OK with them fixing bugs before rolling it out. I'm not OK with that taking another 6 months.

But then again, I have a Sony GoogleTV device that Google promised would be updated to 4.2.2 in 3Q13. Here almost to 3Q14 no sign of an update from Sony.

4.4 Update was available today 7/13/14 in the U.S. (Colorado). Tablet update said up to date. PC Companion Started download.

Are you just checking the tablet update software button. Mine kept saying up to date. I recieved the 4.3 update here in the U.S. shortly after the release through PC Companion. Again today 7/13/14 the tablet check said up to date so I plugged into the computer and did the PC Companion and it found the update for 4.4.2. So the release is live in the U.S. now through PC Companion. Know idea why the tablet check says no update when there is one. Also make sure you have the most recent PC Companion installed.

I am not sure you want to go to KitKat.  I did and it is a mess!  I still have flickering screen and the battery gets sucked down real fast.  There are blogs about this issue.  Sony blames Google for the drain coming from Google services.  It is just not Sony either.  I may have to root the tablet and take it back to an earlier Jellybean.

I just take my kitkat today,and I have to say that my tablet is 100 times more laggy and games 2 times slower I go apple byeee

Just got the update last night finally.   (US)

Issues:

1.  I am noticing that my battery seems to drain faster than it did on Jellybean.  

2.  I also don't like how they split the top drag down menu into two seperate parts.  If you drag down the on the left side of the screen, it shows your email, application updates, and google stuff, but if you drag down the right side of the screen it shows your settings and such; Its a little confusing.  

3.  Dolphin browser doesn't seem to want to load pages all the time; sometimes it works, but a lot of times it doesn't.  The browser just randomly stops loading a page and I'm sitting there staring at a blank browser window.  I haven't tried it with Chrome yet.  I prefer Dolphin because it allows me to watch flash videos in webpages when used with an older Adobe Flash player; this doesn't work with Chrome.

4.  Lookout Mobile doesn't seem to work right anymore.  I can still locate the tablet, but when I try to make it scream, for some reason the Tablet never gets the signal and it never screams.

One thing I do like is my DirecTV for Tablets app finally works without crashing all the time.
