Still getting reminder app notifications when using Do Not Disturb > Priority only (Alarm Only)

My Do Not Disturb settings  under Settings > Sound > Do Not Disturb have Alarm enabled by default, but even when I have Reminders toggled OFF, Events toggled OFF, and Calls toggled OFF , three different reminder apps (Just Reminder being my favourite) all allow notifications coming through even though they are not set as priority. 

Also I made sure and checked under Apps > Just Reminder (and tried two others reminder apps) > Notifications, and made sure they are NOT set for priority.

I assume there must be some kind of bug that "Reminders" are not being recognized as being off or on for priority?

My phone is a Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra model G3223 in Canada using Android 7.0

Looks like an Android-related bug, upon searching I see other phone models are having the same issue:

What app are you using to set those reminders?

The app I tested is called "Just Reminder" and there was another but I can't remember.

If I use Google Assistant to use their reminder it stayed silent under Priority Only > Alarm but any third party app seems to be ignored for the "exclude reminder" settings.
