When I try to connect to a laptop on my network the w-ifi crashes and requires a re-start to get it going again.
I see the device, can select it and then see the folders listed but within a few sections the connection is lost and I have to re-start to get a stable wi-fi connection - which promptly crashes if I try again. Same thing if I try to throw to my Sony TV (new this year). My TV will happily play files from the same laptop via the network but wired in, not wi-fi.
Been on to support and they asked me to run the checker app (which completed ok) and then said I have to find a 3rd party DLNA server app to fix it. Is that right? I know nothing about DLNA, but why would I want a server on the tablet?
