Sony Tablet S and win XP

Can the Tablet S connect to a WIN XP PC? I want to transfer some files to my tablet but when i connect via USB I get a 'Found new Hardware' dialogue but there is no driver to point it at and it can't find anything on the PC.

PS: It works fine on my Vista laptop

Do you have SP3 installed and / or 'automatic windows drivers' search turned on?
