I was hoping to use these for ambient noise reduction when not playing audio, but they seem to make a ‘hissing’ noise (a bit like wind in a tunnel, or the sea) - is this normal…? I’m in a very noisy environment and I bought these because my Bose NC700s packed up and Bose refused to replace them. Is there no way to increase the ANC level…? I’m autistic, in an ATU, and hypersensitive to artificial light and noise, and I’m having to contend with alarms, banging doors, doorbells, screaming, yelling, shouting, vacuuming, drilling, hammering - you name it.
If this is normal, I’ll just have to get used to it, but I just thought I’d ask.
