I just got this unit fitted by Halfords. My smartphonce is a Cubot X12 . Previously I had a Parott system in the car which worked well with my phone for both handsfree and BT Music.
The Mex-N4100BT works with the X12 phone for handsfree calling. But the BT Music is awful - just snatches of music (less that a second of music at a time). I have tried various apps - Tunein, Spotify and local music files.
I have upgrade the Mex to the lastes Firmware.
I have tried another phone (S5) - works perfectly on all fronts.
The X12 work with other BT units for Music such as Jambox etc...
I would like to get the X12 working as it is dual Sim and saves me having two phones.
Any help appreciated.
