Windows XP Product Key RX 305

I have a sony RX 305, it came with the recovery cds but I can't seem to remember where my cd key is. Do you to input the key when you use the recovery cds or is it automatic? Does anyone know where the original cd key is located, manuals, etc. back of my pc?

On mine you don't need to enter the key. My key is also on the back of my Tower so yours will probably be on you computer somwhere.

Robert is correct, you will not need a key when you use the recovery discs.

You don't need the key, however there is a small shiny label on the back of the PC saying "1-2 CPU Windows XP Home ..." and it will have your key on it
