Hello there,
I recently bought a BZ12XN sony vaio and my motion eye camera is not working. I got the latest drivers from sony website but the cam won;t show in the Device Manager section. Any ideeas on how to get this fixed? Thanks
Hi valentino248 and welcome to Club Vaio.
Search in ALL the sections in Device Manager to see if there is an uninstalled device shown with a yellow triangle. It would typically be listed as a USB device.
If it is not shown at all you will need to contact Sony Support as the camera is defective or a wire has become disconnected.

It used to work on the first day, but after updating the latest drivers the cam dissapeared from the Device managaer section. Did a complete recovery to factory settings but the cam won't show...and no reply from sony support so far...
