Hi Lionman, have you tried opening the Vaio up and taking a look at the manufacturer/spec/model of the existing drive? You can then google these details to find a retailer closeby.
For instance i believe that the Sony Optiarc BC-5600S fits the Vaios, as it's a slot loader, but this is a Blu-ray too. There are other threads that go over what you require for Blu-ray.
