But I do not know what I have on my pc...

Is it a :

- Intel(R) PRO 100 VE Network Connection

thats your firwire card, dont think it could be that..
dunno if you run you net through your lan module though..

doesnt it give u any other options like your cable modem to choose from?

TCP optimiser is pretty useless in my opinion, i 'felt' no difference on my 56k
