Anyone else like me find the Sony P series 1.3 model is dreadfully slow from boot up to being able to use it for real, especially the first time out of the box?
It shouldn't be running a 1.3 chip, it needs at least 1.6 to run vista but there isn't a reasonably priced option in the UK
The P series is loaded with bloatware which hogs resources. In particular Mcfee antivirus which seems to grind the machine to a halt.
The number of Vista and other Windows updates required out of the box is also surprising and results in a few hours of updates for the first time user.
This is certainly not a machine you can buy and start using within the hour.
