Hi all,

I updated my VP and SS & Vaio Music Transfer all together. So I am usuing SS2.3 currently. What are the benefits of 3.1 and do I need to update the VP at the same time?

Will it mess up my library/player currently, i.e. will I have to re-transfer all my albums again. (this would be a massive pain as Im up to about 400+ albums currently!)

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi, 3.1 is different, mainly it a lot faster, and the MP3 compatibility is now built in!

It does organise albums differently so expect to do a bit of sorting once you have changed over, I would transfer everything back to PC, backup the Dbase and then do the upgrade, you can't be too careful with SS imo!!
