I believe SDHC capability is possible for my VGN FE21M.
With Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Integrated FlashMedia card reader in it.
Can anyone verify ?

Has anyone successfully enabled SDHC capability ?
Current driver is Texas Instrument vrs 2.0.0.16 will post an upate when successful.
Hi XXJASONXX,
Good luck with this - it should be possible.
Let us know how you get on - it will be useful for many!

Tried drivers 2.0.0.6, 2.0.0.7, 2.0.0.8, 2.0.0.11, 2.0.016 with Reader = VGP - MCA20- All with no luck.
Interestingly there is a vrs "A" of the card reader fitted to other Sony models.
Can anyone confirm / deny SDHC capability with these ?
Reader = VGP - MCA20A ?
Anyone else got a 8Gb / 16Gb SDHC card to work with either of these readers ?
I did see one post whilst searching with a vrs 2.0.0.17 & 2.0.0.18 & 2.0.0.19 drivers but looks like they are for Vista only.
Anyone else interested try here:
Looks like success on other machines

Here was the help from Sony:
Thank you for your reply.
Please note that all Vaio are not SDHC compliant. We do support the card reader adapters VGP-MCA20, but this still does not mean we can support the SDHC format of memory cards, because the Vaio will not read them in any case.
