RAM Upgrade

Hello,
I have a FZ18M laptop and I just wanted to check if I could upgrade the RAM to 3 or 4? If I can't any idea as to why??

According to the FZ11m's specifications 2GB RAM is the maximum your Vaio's motherboard can support..

Perhaps if a Club VAIO member has installed more than the recommended RAM they could let you know, also have you tried using the Crucial System Scanner tool to see what they recommend.?

The tool says I could add up to 4GB's but if I was to exceed the amount of RAM, could I damage the PC?
