P Series Notebook

Just received my new P Series notebook, but it will not connect via GPS with a Vodafone data SIM.
The Vodafone SIM card is seen by the Globe Trotter software and will send a text message but not connect?
I understand that earier Sony device had a similar problem?
Anybody got any ideas?

Hi m13armstrong and welcome to Club Vaio.

I believe the problem was solved in previous Vaio models by using a utility called MWCONN
