ns10l power problem

hi, i have a problem with notebook, when ever i remove the power lead from the laptop it just freezes, i cannot turn off, mouse keyboard stop responding. I have to remove the battery to turn off and then reboot. I don't know what causing this or why everything just stops?
Is there anybody who has had similar problem or know what might be causing it?

are you still within warranty, if so I suggest you contact Sony Vaio support,to find contact details for Sony Vaio support..

Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support

Under Log-in option 2: Select your VAIO model, next to Select Model Category - Select your model from the drop down list, in your case VGN NS.

Then next to Select Model - select NS10L

Then click Log-In

Once logged select Get In Touch
