I was the happy owner of three VAIOs: 2 FS and 1 SZ.
One of my screens just went bananas. To be more precise, I will describe the problem: the computer (VAIO VGN-FS295VP) will start when you hit the power, will make a little noise on the back of the screen like there is a loose conection and after this point, even though it runs fine (hard drive, graphics, ...) you cannot see anything on the screen.
Actually, yo do see something but veeeery dark.
In fact, if I plug it to an external screen (Sony as well) it will work just fine (not the laptop screen, the monitor).
Anyone can help on this?
After some tests I thought to myself, "it's ok, I'll send it to the customer service".
Guess what, Sony only has machines on all the phones, and they will not take a computer that is older than one year.
Still, it has less than 2 years, so should be on warranty, but imposible to talk with a person at Sony.
I will see what I can do, but I am no longer a happy Sony user 😞
