HDMI output not avaiable for LV1S

Hello, is there any possibility to get BluRay video signal from LV1S to any other device i.e. projector?

I recently purchased LV1S via amazon.co.uk and extremely disappointed that through HDMI port it does not recognize any output device!!!

Please help!

Hi egilst and welcome to Club Vaio.

It appears that the product description on Amazon is incorrect. The HDMI connection on this model is an INPUT only - designed to connect a PS3 and use the high resolution screen as a HDMI monitor.

As the screen is so good, it is not designed to output Video of any sort to an external display. There is not even a VGA output for a projector.

If you need this feature, you should take it up with Amazon although the product description is very similar to the details on the Vaio web site here: -
