Gapless Playack

hello there,, i have got a VP 40 Gb, one,, i have loaded up music, and i have the new firmware as well, but, still i am not able to play gapless music,, there is a 5 sec pause, between every song, can any of you guys,, guide me, what to do, cheers

Hi gapless playback means that in some tracks where there are quiet moments, the device does not interpret this as a new track and leave a pause. You will still have a pause between genuinely seperate tracks of a few seconds.

Gapless playback is intended for recordings such as live albums, where tracks run into one another.

Prior to the firmware upgrade the VAIO annoyingly put spaces between tracks that didn't exist on the original recording
