FW31zj: after update to w7 no +- vol and Fn-key control

Hello,
I have a problem.
After update Vista to W7 with official SONY update dvd 1+2,
the extra keys -vol+ all control Fn(blue keys) are gone.

What sholud I install to get it back?
Also roxio writer software is gone. Where to get it, again?

Hi Roman.

Are you sure you followed the upgrade instructions carefully? You have the symptoms of having done a clean install and not the Sony Upgrade.

The Sony Discs 1 & 2 do not contain enough support for a clean install only for an upgrade from an existing Vista system as the Upgrade uses most of the drivers, utilities and programs (like Roxio) from your original Vista installation. The discs only contain a few drivers to replace the Vista ones that will not work with Win7.

If you just want the Fn Keys back you can download all the Original Utilities from the download page for your model.

If you want Roxio Back you may have to use the Recovery Discs to reinstall Vista and then do an UPGRADE as per Sony's instructions.

If you actually did do an Upgrade, you will need to contact Sony Support as there is something wrong with the upgrade discs.

Yes, I did Update of W7.
Firstly I started the DVD1 on Vista OS.
It took one hour and some drivers (LAN, WLAN) were killed.
After reboot I started within Vista DVD2.
I get the Option Upgrade.

It took 9 hours till W7 was installed.
As I wrote, Fn keys are gone.

I would download it, but what is the name of Fn-Drivers?

Please give me the name.

You can install all the Utilities marked 32-bit/64-bit from here: -

You definitely need:

SFEP
Sony Shared Library
Vaio Event Service
Setting Utility Series

but you may need others as well.
